A contract can be cancelled by the costumer if it isn't a distance contract or if it isn't a contract made within closed business offices.
According to §312 g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB the cancellation right does not apply for contracts in contexts of free time activities when the contract was made for a specific date or time. This means that cancellations for entry tickets to the DDR Museum or events on set dates cannot be compensated. Every order of an entry ticket is mandatory and ordered ticket have to be paid.

According to § 312 g Abs. 2 No. 9 BGB, the right of revocation does not exist for contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities, if the contract is for a specified date or time frame. Accordingly, there is no right of revocation when purchasing tickets for entry to the DDR Museum or events on a fixed date. Each order of tickets is therefore binding and payment of the ordered tickets is mandatory
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without providing any reason.
The cancellation period is fourteen days in the case of a service contract from the date of closing of the contract, in the case of a purchase contract, it is from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) about your decision to withdraw from this contract. In order to maintain the cancellation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of the cancellation
If you withdraw from this agreement, we will reimburse you all payments we have received from you, including delivery charges (except for the additional costs arising from choosing a different delivery method than the most favorable standard delivery we offer). Reimbursment will follow immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which the notification of your revocation of this contract has reached us. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment as you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; In no case will you be charged repayment fees for this.
The DDR Museum Berlin GmbH has the right to wait to implement the reimbursement until the goods have been sent back or the costumer has sent a confirmation of shipment depending on what reaches the museum first.
The buyer has to send or return the products immediately, latest within 14 days starting on the day the DDR Museum Berlin GmbH receives the cancellation. The period is ensured when the costumer sends back the product within 14 days. The buyer bears the immediate costs of returning the goods.
The buyer must pay for a possible loss in value of the goods only if this loss of value is determined to be due to an inappropriate use of the product contrary to the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
If the buyer has requested that services be commenced during the period of revocation, the purchaser shall pay to the DDR Museum a reasonable amount equivalent to what was utilited until the moment the purchaser invokes the right of Cancellation. The buyer is liable for the proportional amount of services already provided compared to the total volume of services provided for in the contract.
