This miniature model based on the "Trabant 601 Sedan" is a real cult object. An entire nation was moved with the big brother of this little car in the DDR.
The approximately 12 cm long model with pull-back motor is in no way inferior to the original – it includes a grille, side mirrors and bumpers. Push the vehicle slightly downwards and pull it back, let go and off you go – completely without batteries. The model is decorated with a colourful graffiti, typical of the Berlin Wall street-artist Thierry Noir.
In 1984, Thierry Noir began along with other French artists to paint the West-Side Berlin Wall, with colourful heads: in profile, with protruding nose, huge lips, googly eyes and round skull. In 1991, the East Side Gallery, consisting of painted sections of the Wall, including those of Noir, were listed as historical monuments.
