Description

This miniature model, based on the "Trabant 601 Sedan", is a real cult object. An entire nation was moved with the big brother of this little car in the DDR.

The approximately 12 cm long model with pull-back motor is in no way inferior to the original – it includes a grille, side mirrors and bumpers. Push the vehicle slightly downwards and pull it back, let go and off you go – completely without batteries.

The model is decorated white and green, the colours of the Volkspolizei (Peoples' Police), which was first the centralised police force of the Soviet Occupied Zone and later of the DDR. Accordingly, the bonnet is graced by the emblem of the workers' and peasants' state with a hammer, compass and wreath.
